From an earlier post in May that is now closed: "So @Verizon, remember when I bought my phone.... and you made me sign all of that paperwork saying that I had to wait until 50% to upgrade my device, and I had 30 days to return it or else I was stuck until 50% and trade, or keep it until I decide to get a new one? Was the paperwork for fun? Asking for myself... Not a friend. Most of the agents I talked till now can't explain anything to me and give me the same "made up response" and they tell me "It doesn't seem that device is eligible." Really? Tell me more. I'm sure we just established that you believe it's not available from what your computer says. Do you see anything wrong when you look at my documentation I tell you to search out, and see that I've signed all of your "air tight" paperwork? Do you see what you as a carrier agreed to give me as a customer? Curious. Looking forward to these comments. I've been a customer since the early 2000s on a family plan. I'm a long term customer but haven't been felt I am satisfied with their response. Now the situation is questionable for why I am still paying.
I saw a couple replies from the CS rep providing a list of "eligible" phones. What about the phone that was eligible when the contract was signed? Had I had suspected that Verizon would not honor the initial agreement, I may have made another choice. I trusted by carrier and took the Samsung flagship phone. Now it's been decided that Verizon, for whatever reason, decided to change our agreement. I expected more!
