3 Weeks and counting. Regular SMS come through. Both directly and in SOME group messages. iMessage works as its intended. I can’t send an RCS message and can’t receive one either. And in a group message where there’s an android user sending an RCS, I won’t get that message but everyone else will.
I’ve replaced my phone 3 times. Called Verizon at least 10 -15 times. Verizon says it’s Apples fault. Apple says it’s Verizon’s fault. 3 weeks, still no solution or compensation. I’ve been told at least 5 times a “ticket” would be submitted. There’s no ticket.. Oh but there’s an AYS ticket! Nope. It’s an iOS issue! Nope. Updated to 18.7 and iOS 26. Same thing. It’s a device issue! Nope. Replaced it 3 times. It’s an Apple issue! Nope. Called them 3 times too. Yikes…
it’s hard to believe that Verizon, the biggest and best cell phone provider in the US, doesn’t have the resources or staff to figure this out.
