Not Receiving Notifications on my new Pixel 10

I am not getting notifications on my new Pixel 10 that I bought last week. I had the Pixel 7 and had the same issues starting in July or August of this year. I thought it was a physical issue with the phone as my phone screen was coming out of the phone (I dropped the phone several times). However, I am still getting the same issue son this new Pixel 10. Thanks in adavnce for your help

There are many more users on the Pixel help forum than there are here on the Verizon forum. You will be lucky if you ever receive a response here on the Verizon forums.

If the same issue is occurring on your Pixel 10 as your Pixel 7 you might have copied the [problem to the new phone if you used the data transfer during setup of the P10, or restored from a backup while doing the new phone setup. Try booting your phone into SAFE MODE.

Safe mode is a diagnostic tool used to help determine if Play Store apps are causing problems. When your phone is in safe mode, most Play Store apps will not load or run. See how your phone works in safe mode. Try to leave the phone in safe mode long enough to test thoroughly. If the issue does not happen in safe mode then a Play Store app might be part of the problem. Sometimes just booting into safe mode > then back to normal fixes minor glitches.

Thanks...I went yesterday to the Google store and one Rep. there had a Pixel Pro XL and didn't have this issue because her carrier was Google FI Itself ( I didn't know Google was a phone carrier/provider) . She tried to helped me and we thought we had solved the issue but it did not. She then brought in a Google tech who told me that I was not the only one with this problem with Verizon and created a case number to scale my situation and that someone was going to be contacting me. Furthermore, Verizon has also being in touch with me and we tried different trouble shooting stepd and nothing was achieved. VZ thinks that a future software update my solve it.

I hope everyone involved is being accurate and Google really is aware and is working on a fix. This is not a common complaint on the Pixel phone forum. Usually the forum would be full of people screaming about something like this.

Thanks Scott. You have giving me instructions on how to do reboot and troubleshoot on safe mode etc. I am going to go back next week to the Google store to ask them to follow your instructions -- I am an older man and I do not trust myself with doing them and getting more problems with the Pixel. You logic seems right in terms of the Forums. If this was a common complaint there would people screaming. But Not sure why the Tech at the Google Store told me that this was a problem happening with VZ and Google and that the latter was awree of it. Perhaps he was just pulling my chain
