After being with verizon for over three years and never missing a payment, I recently switched to visible. I paid off my phone and watch in full, paid my final bill, ported my number out, and canceled my verizon service.
When you port out, Verizon automatically deletes your account and removes all access. I was told I would receive final bill, which I did and paid, but I could not view the details because the account was already closed.
This Month I was charged again, customer service told me my Apple watch line was somehow still connected even though it had no active service, was fully paid off, and i had no way to manage or remove it because my account was deleted.
I was charged 22 dollars and verizon is refusing to refund it, saying it is against their policy. I did everything right.
