what does it mean when my phone bill on my data usage says that I sent a picture or a video to a 999-999-9999 number and also when it has an @ as someone I sent a message to?
Hi @Atostado909,
Calls that appear as "999-999-9999" in the unbilled usage. The 999-999-9999 number appears when an incoming phone number's Caller ID cannot be captured within the applicable Verizon Wireless billing systems when the call is within the current billing cycle and has not been billed yet. This can happen if the Caller ID of the person calling was not transmitted at the time that call was made or if the service provider for the caller did not provide us with the number calling you. Additionally, the caller may have enabled the use of "*67" to block his/her number from appearing on your Caller ID.
Please be aware you will be able to identify the actual number that called you once your next billing statement is processed, unless the number was intentionally blocked from appearing on your Caller ID. If such is the case, the call will appear as “unavailable” in the call detail section of your statement.
So, when viewing the unbilled usage, or usage that has not been processed through our billing system, calls where he Caller ID info did not display will show up as "999-999-9999," and once the bill prints, these calls will show as "Unavailable" on the bill.
I hope this helps! 😊
that’s actually not true, because I still have those numbers exactly on my last few message ‘usage’ downloads
not to mention, since the start of the new year I can’t even view any of my minute- usage logs from Dec/Nov 2025. 🤷🏼♀️
The missing log info is a random glitch happening every so often; I've seen a number of forum threads cropping up every so often about it. For whatever reason it fixes itself after some time. When it happened with my account, seemed to take about 2-3 months and went away on its own. As for the 999-999-9999 thing, if it still says that even after your bill generates, then the other person is blocking their number from being displayed on caller ID.
