since I got Verizon 5G Wi-Fi I cannot connect my Canon printer to the Wi-Fi. it is not compatible as is. anybody have some alternatives?

Would be helpful to know the following:
What's the model number of the gateway and printer?
What steps have you tried if any?
My guess is it's trying to connect to the 5ghz try directing it to the 2.4ghz. It's supposed to be automatic, but that doesn't always work. You'll have to get the manual to see how to do this, takes a few steps.
