I was called by a Verizon rep and encouraged to switch from ATT. I did based on the promotion that they would pay off my devices at ATT. I was provided an email address to send my ATT bill and promised I would be email a visa gift card for the amount owed.
Now my ATT bill is due and every time I call Verizon customer support they just keep saying they don’t know when the card will be sent.
I am beginning to believe I'm out $2000 and will be getting BBB , consumer protection agency involved. I will also begin posting my experience on all Verizon social media accounts to warn others.
