Google pixel 8 Pro OEM unlock request

Dear Verizon Customer Service,

I hope you're well. I bought the phone in UK and now Im outside the Verizon network reach Im forced to use different operator now, but my phone don't detect others vendors networks and I can't call and use cellular internet. I've completed all payments for my Google Pixel 8 Pro with Verizon. Could you please assist me in unlocking the device's bootloader? And more important making my phone see the SIM card ? This would enable greater customization options. I appreciate your prompt help in this matter.

Verizon will unlock the SIM slot, but they will never unlock the bootloader.

If you were formerly a Verizon customer who purchased the phone through Verizon, you will need plenty of proof that you purchased the phone legitimately and that you are the original owner before you have any chance of getting the phone unlocked. The CSRs haven't been using the forums because there are things still being worked on in the background and I'm guessing private messaging isn't working all that well for now. If you have any social media accounts, try contacting Verizon via one of their social media channels.
