I recently moved and qualified for $200 in Verizon gift cards. Sounds great, right? Not exactly. The redemption process is set up in a way that makes it easy to miss.
You have to wait six months for an email. And even then, that email might not even show up. If it does, there’s a good chance it lands in your spam folder. If you don’t catch it and redeem it fast enough, they’ll say you missed the window and that it’s on you.
You have to stay on top of it.
If you're dealing with this, here’s what worked for me:
Step 1 – Call Verizon Gift Card Department

- Ask for your gift card reference numbers.
- You need these before moving forward.
Step 2 – Contact the Issuing Company (Blackhawk)

- They’ll verify your identity.
- Provide the reference numbers from Verizon.
The gift card email should come from:
verizon@hawkmarketplace .com
Check spam. Seriously.
