I have been having major problems trying to login to my forum account and also with creating a new forum account over the past few days in order to report the issue.
- Using the "My Verizon" login method does not work anymore as I keep getting the following error message. Oddly enough, if I navigate to the main Verizon website or open a new tab in my browser and go to verizon.com, I AM logged in at verizon.com and can also directly access my mobile account from there. It's only the forums which will not let me login. 😭
-I tried using the "Community login" only route, and got a message saying my password needed to be reset and to enter my email address in order to get the reset request. The email never arrived.
-Attempted to reset my password again via the "community login" route today, and after some delay, the email finally arrived and I was able to reset my password and login, but I'm not sure if the My Verizon method works anymore for getting into my forum account. On the other hand, it's nice that I can finally just login to the forums only and not everything Verizon if I don't want to be logged into a bunch of stuff via single sign on.
-When I tried to create a new forum account in order to report the "whoops" error message, it took several days before I even got the verification email…I made the request 4 days ago, and it only showed up today. I used a slightly different username in the new account as well as a different email address. Couldn't even post in the forums until the verification email was received.
