2x Fios Stream TV boxes both updated to 2.0.32 (I believe March 10, yesterday). One is connected via coax, the other Ethernet, and both using the Stream TV MoCA Ethernet Adapters (what a mouthful, it's the ASK-MAE311). Both boxes now complain with "Ethernet disconnected" and will not receive a signal.
From the router's perspective (CR1000A) the MoCA/Ethernet boxes have valid IP addresses and respond to pings. It seems the actual Stream TV boxes themselves will not register (i.e. DHCP, etc., it treats it like a physical network disconnect issue). I have gone back to WiFi and both boxes now work- but of course there's a reason I went with the wired connections, so this is not ideal.
I can only point at the Stream TV update 2.0.32 as being somehow related.
Things I have tried-
- different Ethernet cables
- different coax cables
- disconnecting and reconnecting coax
- different Ethernet port on back of router
- logging into the ASK-MAE311 web UI (it's not that useful)
- physical reset on the ASK-MAE311 (using the pinhole)
- factory reset the Stream TV boxes
Frustrating because there's no changelogs (ever?) and no indication when an update has occurred or not, etc., I'm sure if anyone is here reading these posts you'll understand what I mean.
