Do I need to activate my number share so it works?
From what I can tell, you have to go to Manage Connected Devices in My Verizon and pick the devices you want to use Number Share with before your phone number will be used on the other devices. This link has some dated information, but might help:
Note that if you are prepaid, Number Share does not work at all, so if someone accidentally signed you up for it, get it cancelled. Number Share also does not work with public sector business accounts; don't know if it works with other business lines.
