Phone being rejected by towers.

Hello, I have an active Verizon SIM card and it has been inserted into my OnePlus 12R, but I cannot connect to the cellular network.

My phone logs include this error:

04-13 20:38:38 05018 05018 D OplusSST/0: Register denined with EMM cause 8, take as PCO state 5

indicating that the tower has rejected my phone's connection attempt.

I can provide my IMEI and ICCID.

Moving a Verizon SIM card from one phone to another is no longer supported. Someone reported a year or 2 ago that when they tried it, it "broke" their brand new smartphone.

I'd run the IMEI of the phone on the compatibility checker just in case Verizon doesn't support the phone:

Usually phones which are locked will give a SIM card error if some other carrier SIM card is inserted, but I'm not familiar with the OnePlus phone. Did you check that the phone is unlocked?
