Forum notifications - ignored users

Just wanted to report the forum notification bell will persistently show a notification which doesn't go away if you have someone on your "ignore" list if the ignored member(s) post something in a thread which you've previously participated. If you un-ignore the member(s), then you can clear your notifications out from the bell, but if you put the members back onto your "ignore" list, then the phantom notifications reappear.

Ah, I wonder if if that's the case for me. I have one notification that refuses to clear itself even though I clicked on the mark all read.

There is usually a reason why I marked a user to be ignored. They likely sent an unsolicited private direct message to me asking a question instead of posting that question on the forum. In my experience, that's an automatic block from me after I reply to the direct message stating they should have posted the question on the public community forum and I will be blocking them. I didn't have the patience for such stuff 10+ years ago and I have even less patience for it now.
