36 month credit

Question

I traded my wifes phone in and was told I would receive a $820 credit that would appear in one or two billing cycles. What I wasn’t or it wasn’t  made clear is that the $820 credit would be spread over 36 months. When you are told you will get an $820 credit that is what you expect not 36 $23 credits. Also wan’t clear that by upgrading my wifes line all other lines on the plan would be upgraded as well. My bill has increased dramatically. I have been a customer for 21 years. I feel like I’ve conned. Time to change carrier.

I'm wondering why all the other lines in your account got "upgraded" if you only had a promotion applied for 1 line.  That looks like a mistake.

If you have social media, your best bet would be to contact Verizon via one of their social media channels, as the CSRs are currently unable to use these forums.

The promotional credits have been structured into monthly credits ever since the first device payment agreement offer. It is documented in the agreement.
