I get a constant barrage of phone calls with no one of the other idea. I block everyone but they keep coming. Is there anyway to stop this?? It is beyond annoying.
Sadly, bad actors will find a way to skirt laws governing telemarketing calls.
What I ended up doing was to purchase a business centric telephone system for the house and let the auto attendant do the filtering. Auto dialers used by telemarketing outfits do not have the ability to outpulse the extra digits needed to get past the auto attendant, so the calls just disconnect.
You can also get a cordless phone system with a good smart call blocker. They have an auto attendant also to screen calls. There's also a directory list and a safe callers list (star) that will allow those calls to come through. The screening gives instructions as to how to complete the call, which robo calls can't do, and most telemarketers will hang up when they hear an auto attendant. I've had one for years and get very few unwanted calls
