About my phone's SIM card lock

My phone is almost a year old, and I've been using it overseas the whole time. It's always been on the whitelist and hasn't been lost. Why is it still not unlocked? I don't understand. Can anyone help me unlock it? If it's not unlocked soon, I'm going to file a complaint. My phone's IMEI number is *****. Please, administrators, see this and help me. It's been on the whitelist for a year, and it's still not unlocked. I'm extremely angry.

The current version of the device unlocking policy states that only devices purchased through Verizon and paid off will unlock. If you are prepaid, it must also be used on Verizon for 365 days.

Thank you for reading this message. I am fully aware of the unlocking policy, as I purchased my phone before the new policy was implemented. It meets all the requirements, is on the whitelist, and wasn't stolen or lost. It should unlock after 60 days, not 365 days, because it's the previous policy, which I understand perfectly. However, my phone is still locked with the SIM card. I don't know what's wrong. Could you please help me check this, or ask someone to help me resolve the issue? God bless you.

You're welcome. Because I don't work for Verizon and the CSRs are also currently unable to use these forums, you would have to contact Verizon to ask if your phone is grandfathered under the previous unlocking policy, or if the new policy is a blanket one applying to everybody. One thing I remember seeing regularly with the old policy was Verizon devices purchased through some 3rd party source like Best Buy, Amazon, etc. not automatically unlocking even after the 60 days. I want to say it was because the purchase was not directly tied to your Verizon account, so the system then couldn't automatically verify the device was purchased legitimately.

Your best bet for getting in touch with someone at Verizon would be through one of their social media channels. Otherwise, use either the "contact us" link at the top of the forum page, or live chat in My Verizon.
