No internet service

we live 2 miles SW of Greensburg Indiana. We cannot get service there. Maybe one bar. Have to hold phone in window for anything to load after quite a few minutes. When are we getting service in this area? Again 2 miles out of town. Our address. ***** Greensburg Indiana

You're in a dead zone from what you're describing. If you only have one bar at best, it's not good enough for reliable service. Dead zones have numerous causes, so it's hard to say why you're having that problem. If it is a known weak spot in the network, unfortunately it's going to take a long time to fix because getting new towers isn't a simple task. However, if you have wired internet, you can ask Verizon for a 4G Network Extender. The extenders need a wired internet connection to hook up to and will work like a mini cell phone tower. These at least used to be free to customers in known weak signal areas. Your other options would be to use WiFi at home, invest in a 3rd party signal booster system compatible with Verizon, or switch carriers.
