Swype appears to not function at all as of this morning.

As of this morning, I can not get swype to work at all. None of the keys on the keyboard will work. I have had to change the input method back to the regular keyboard in order to enter any text information. I have looked everywhere and can not seem to find a resolution. I do not want to have to reset the phone if I do not have to but I am out of options for trying to fix the issue. I miss swype as regular keyboard actions are ancient now and way too time consuming. Any help is greatly appreciated.

All I can offer is to go to "settings"/ "applications" / "Manage applications"  and select the "All" tab.

 

Scroll down to "Swype and try the "Force Stop" and "Clear All Data" options. If the "Clear Cache" button is available, select it, too.

 

Try this and see what happens. If this doesn't work, and you don't find out anything else, you might be up for a reset.
