Unblocking SMS messages

I apparently have a block on messages from my bank, NHL, and other little messages from websites. I have searched and do not know how to unblock these messages. How do I do this?

Call customer service (800-922-0204, or *611 from your handset) and ask them to remove the texting block. If you don't have a texting plan/bundle, text messages are 20 cents each. You can add a bundle of messages (250 texts per month, $5, 500+unl, Verizon to Verizon for $10, 5000 + unl. Verizon to Verizon for $20) if you don't have a plan.
