No 3G today?

My wife's Droid 2 does not have 3g (i.e. network) coverage today, while my Droid 2 does. Both phones are sitting right next ot eachother right now and her's is not working. I tried a factory reset, and cannot activate the phone now due to not having a network connection.

Anyone else having issues today?

If this continues please call verizon. It is possible that her 3g radio failed. While this isn't common, it is possible.

Of you've done a factory reset, you're next step should be a call to vzw.

Thank jasnmar for your reply. I just wanted to provide additional regarding your wife's phone not receiving service. It is possible that her phone has it's System Select feature set to (Home only). It should be set to (Automatic). I have provided instructions below on how to make the change. Your can also click on the link below to for additional attendance with your phones.

System Select: Allows you to change between the "A or B" System.

From the main screen, touch menu tab
Touch Settings
Touch Wireless & Networks
Touch Mobile Networks
Touch System Select
Choose Home only or Automatic
