Does anybody know why all of a sudden the time that shows on the face does not update to the local time the minutes are ok but the hrs are all over the place

If it's the clock widget it could be set to a different time zone. You can check this by deleting the clock off of your desktop, and then adding it back. When you add it back it should ask what time zone or city you want the clock to represent.
