Droid 2 Screen problems

Hello,

I have a Droid 2 that i've had for about 6 months now and yesterday i pulled the phone out of my pocket and turned on the screen but all I saw was the backlight light up,and, the screen was black. I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in but its still doin the same thing. Does anyone know what might have happened or how to fix this problem?

I have had the same problem with my droid 2. Taking out the battery and putting it back in usually works. I have also had to reset my phone a couple of times.

Tiebs, once the screen goes blank, there is really not many troubleshooting steps that you can try. Aside from removing the battery, you want to check for any physical/liquid damage that may have caused this issue. If it is free of damage, you may will be eligible for a replacement under the warranty. Please send us a personal message for additional assistance.
