Has anyone else noticed that the X is no longer silenced during an incoming call when you set it on its face? I can't even find the option to enable this feature anymore. Am I missing something?
Thank you for your inquiry. You can try program your handset to immediately switch to vibrate just by flipping over handset during an incoming call. To turn this feature on. Press the Menu button, then tap Settings > Sounds > Smart Profile (scroll down to bottom). Check green to activate vibrate mode when you turn handset over on face during incoming ring.
To activate silent mode in incoming calls when you double-tap on the touchscreen, check green on Double-Tap to Silence option in same menu.
I hope this can help. Please have a great day.
Correct ... the feature is gone. I used to really like that feature.
I seriously hope Verizon reads these posts. It's just like them to take away features when you're paying $180/mo. What crap!
if you're paying $180/mon it better be for 3 phones, i pay $175 with 2 dx data plans and a 3rd older without a data pkg.
Motorola not VZW, removed turn upside down because it was causing continued issues one of which upside down phones were not ringing at all.
There is double tap to silence which was implemented in one of the 2.2 updates.
I really liked that old "turn over to silence" feature.
So where is this "double tap" to silence setting? I have yet to find it to test it.
