Contacts have disappeared

About 4 days ago, all but about 15 of my contacts mysteriously disappeared from my "People" section. I can access some of them by text, but I can't see their phone numbers to call them. I've also lost all of my specialized ring tones (i.e., Ring Tone A for Dad, B for mom, etc.).

I got on verizon.com, went to the Backup Assistant page, and clicked "sync". It said the sync is successful, but I still can't see any of these pople when I'm in "People."

When ytou go into MENU>SETTINGS>ACCOUNTS AND SYNC, what date and time shows for the last backup?

For backup assistant, it says my last successful sync was at 1:16 a.m. this morning, but I'm still missing my contacts.

You may have to login to backup assitance on the web and tell it to UNDELETE contacts. Also You may want to check out your google account your contacts may have been stored there and you can UNDELETE there if you can't find them on Verizon's web site....Good Luck.,
