Cannot find how to set how often I want phone to check for new mail on email

I tested my Yahoo account on a LG Revolution, and wasn't able to change the Sync Interval for my Yahoo email account either. Only option to change was the number of email to sync to the device. Microsoft Exchange email accounts are the only type on the Revolution you can change Sync Intervals for.
