Accidentally deleted folders from sim card

Ok, all of you smart IT people, I need your help. Is there a way to do something like a system restore on my Incredible 2? I screwed up when trying to transfer music from the pc to my phone via iTunes Agent. Arggghhh! All of the folders that were originally on my phone (i.e. Playlists, etc.) are gone and I have executable files, drv folder and img ? folder. Can anyone help me or do I need to visit the Verizon store?

fwiw:
i created 2 folders on the sd card when connected to the computer and did the drag/drop for the pics and copied to the device/phone from within win media player.

no playlists, just albums/artist/songs/

you may have to recreate the folders and xfer what's needed.

First off, don't you mean the micro SD card?

Can you verify that the sd card was erased by shutting down the phone and taking the sd card out and viewing the contents with a card reader on your computer?

Let's start there and the results can determine the next steps.

Thanks for your quick reply. Yes, you're right--I do mean the sd card. The phone seems to be operating ok, but now I have trouble connecting to the pc. It seems that only choice that allows me to open it is the "media sync" on the drop down menu. I don't have a card reader on my pc, so I'm w/o that option. I downloaded the HTC Sync program, but my phone ends up having two general errors so it won't do it at all.

I have a drv folder, img folder, autorun.inf, TL-Bootstrap.exe, TL-Bootstrap.exe.manifest, tlbs.ini, VMMModeSelection.exe.

That's all that I can see on the card. No playlist folder or anything. Sorry I seem to be a bit confused. I guess I know just enough to be dangerous. :smileysurprised:

Thank you,Bearone. I had to laugh at your post! Evidently, the Force was NOT with me when I tried to do as you said. I got a lot farther doing it your way, tho. I conncected w/the "media sync" option and I saw the "music" and "my_music" folders. I used windows media to drop and drag songs over. That worked great! I tried to play them on my phone...not so great. It seems my phone doesn't recognize that I have songs in the "music" folder. Maybe if I try to move them to the "my_music" folder? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

funny you say that as i've got "may the force be with you" as my sig on a couple other web sites.

when you say win media to drag/drop, i couldn't get music to play if i did the drag/drop from my music/my documents to the music folder i created on the sd card.

music showed up on the card, just wouldn't play with drag/drop.

as i said above, i copied to device/phone from within windows media player.
