I know Verizon doesn't use simcards, but does the thunderbolt HTC have a sim card slot in it even though it doesn't use sim cards?
I'd like to find a way to unlock it also so I can use Philippine sim cards when I go back to the Philippines
Verizon does indeed use sim cards for their LTE phones. The Thunderbolt isn't a "world phone" that you can just unlock and put a GSM sim card in though as it only has a CDMA and LTE radio that won't work on the normal gsm frequencies. You can roam in some countries that have cdma but that's it.
