Software Update

I recently downloaded new software updates for my Droid X...I now have System Version 4.5.596.MB810 and Android Version went to 2.3.3....does anyone know why when the phone updated I received no photos fot my contacts don't show....it made all the photos the Green Droid.....out of all my contacts only 2 came thru.....Just curious....Thanks

june1st if you selected auto update in about phone/updates.

all of my photos, music, contacts/with photos were intact after the upgrade.
