Extra Charges for Texting?

I have a text bundle package (250 per month), but I want to know if I will be charged extra for sending/receiving texts to another Verizon customer who is currently travelling. (If it makes a difference, he is on a Carribean cruise, making stops in Mexico.)

As long as you are in the US, and you are doing it to his/her US VZW number it will just come out of your allotment. No worries!

In other words, if you are texting to someone in another country outside of the domestic U.S , you will be charged the international text rate for that country, which you can find in the upper portion of the site under Plans > International Services.
