Kin TWOm and Plantronics 520 blue tooth headset -does not pair w/o restarting phone

I have a Kin TWOM and a Plantronics 520 headset. I can get it to pair and work only if i shut off the phone and then turn the phone back on when the Plantronics 520 headset is on. This is kind of annoying. with other phones i could just turn on the headset and it would connect. Am I missing something? I have tried turning bluetooth off and on and trying the connect and nothing seems to work. Is this just my headset or something I am doing or not doing?

I have Rocketfish and it works fine without turning my phone off and on. I would say it's just a glitch between that particular headset and the Kin.

I have a Jawbone headset, and it also works perfectly. What i would try doing, is reading your headset's manual. There could be some special to sync it with the phone. But you say you're able to connect, when restarting, so i'm supposing you are able to connect, it just fails to auto-recognize the headset. It could just be your specific headset doesn't work with the phone. The Kin's bluetooth capatibilities are somewhat unreliable in that fashion; some work flawlessly, and others just can't work with the phone.

I had a hard getting my cheap car radio w/bluetooth to connect. But once I did it was paired and connects everytime now.

I have yet to try a headset. Think I will to se what happens.....
