The alarm clock on my LG 5600 Accolade works inconsistently. Some mornings, it will go off without a problem. On others, it will go off 15 minutes past the set alarm time. For example, I have my radio alarm clock set for 7:15 w/a 10 min snooze. My phone's alarm is set for 7:20. I hear my radio go off at 7:15 and again at 7:25 - but my phone alarm should have gone off at 7:20. Then my radio goes off again at 7:35, and that's when my phone alarm will finally go off.
And what's even more strange is when I look at my phone to see why it may have not gone off, it already says "Snooze" by the time as if I had already hit snooze on it when I had not even touched the phone. Also, when I just reset it now for tomorrow morning, instead of the alarm saying, "7:20 am (once)," it says, "7:20 am (snooze)."
And it's not like I'm hitting snooze and not remembering it. My phone sits right next to my radio and it takes a little more effort to snooze my phone b/c I have to push one of the arrow buttons on the side of the phone.
There are also times where I don't even hear the alarm at all. I have a mid-day alarm set at lunch time and sometimes, I will hear it go off. Other times, it does not and it makes me late returning to work after my lunch break. *argh*
Has anyone else had any issues w/the alarm on this phone? I've seen that other Verizon phones have had issues w/the alarm not going off. Is there any thing that can be done?
