Angry Birds

So ... I'm addicted what can i say. I was trying to update it and it gives me the "Download unsucessful" everytime. I did some research it told me to uninstall it and reinstall it ... i uninstalled it ... and now i can't download it again. Verizon won't help me becuase i can do everything else with my phone and the only thing i can't download is Angry Birds!

anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?

I would clear the cache and data for the market app and try again.

Go to Settings > applications > manage applications > all tab > scroll down to the market application. Select it and press the clear cache button, the clear data button and the force close button. Reboot the phone. When you open the market application, you will have to accept the terms and conditions of the application. Search for the app and start the download again.

tried all of that and it doesn't work. but i can download it on the other phones in my plan, just not mine.

i do'nt want to have to reset my phone up ... but i might have to.

It's an issue with the App. You can try to download it on your computer and load it via usb to your phone.

how do i download it to the computer? i'll try that and see if it works.

go delete the .andoid_secure folder off your SD card (it recreates itself)

I could not install Angry Birds Rio off of Amazon App store and as soon as I deleted it, it installed without a problem. Should also fix any problems with when you update AB and it gives you an error

There is a section in this forum community for "Apps". Not that I'm being one of the jerkish types that say you have posted this there.

I say it because that section is not limited to Droid X users and perhaps someone else has experienced this problem and could offer a suggestion.

Friends keep telling me to download this game and I hear it's addicting. Good luck figuring out your problem.
