Does the caller know I blocked their number from my cell phone?
If they are smart they will.. The error message says something like call can't be received at destination..
It doesn't outright say it but its pretty close
What if this person is texting me? Do you know if they'll receive some sort of error message in response to a text message? My problem is I'm getting psycho text messages from my boyfriend's ex-wife, ugh! I was simply ignoring them at first, but they're getting crazier and crazier each day, and I found out I can block her number, which I did, but I'm very very curious to know if she'll realize that I blocked her number, or if she'll think I'm still just ignoring her texts...!! When you block a number the caller will hear the following message:
Welcome to Verizon Wireless. The number you were trying to reach has calling restrictions which has prevented the completion of your call.
For text messages, the texting party will also receive a message indicating their message was blocked.

They don't know that you blocked their # specifically. However, you can call and text them. Just keep in mind that if you added the block through cust service that the block expires after 90 days and that you will have to reinstate that blocked # after then if you need to do so.
