Kin 1 cannot receive texts or send text messages, also cannot access email

I have had the kin 1 for about 3 months, it only has froze once and acted up once, but now whenever I press the messaging screen or the email it sends me right back to the main screen, same thing happens when I send a message, please help. How do I fix this?

Try a battery pull.

You might have to try resetting the phone with the "erase phone data" option.

I agree with Baubillious ... this might require a factory reset. This will, however, erase everything ... all your photos, settings and contacts. Back up by syncing with Zune before doing a reset, but you'll have to re-enter your contacts and settings afterward, unfortunately.
