I could not figure out how to turn off new 4G Verizon Mifi  - Just Answers walked me through.

Have problems turning off my Mifi--- when its charging.

The green light stays on and flashing

I can't seem to turn it off

press the button once (off AC charger) Mifi turns green (solid) to 2 seconds

then flashes purple and green altenating every second

for six seconds

then turned solid green

now see MIFI on computer pulldown

pressed long once second turned yellow then switched on

device: solid green (1 second) then alternating purple and green every second and I detect MIFI on computer

To power off your Verizon MiFi 4G, press and hold the Power Button for 5 seconds until the display turns white and the LED turns amber.

yes and then mifi powered off. Good.

Now if on charge experiment

If you power it off before connecting to the charger, does it stay off?

The device will flash amber to indicate it is charging.

It will remain off until you power it on again.

cool. Once charged will it stop flashing amber even though plugged in?

Yes, it will continue to flash amber while turned off and fully charged.
