2.2 flash games on facebook

I thought we were getting a full flash player with 2.2?

When I visit facebook, the full desktop site, my games looks like they will load, but then stop with either a circle and the play button or an exclamation mark!

I will look up how to take a screenshot and post shortly.

I have tried the following facebook games on the standard browser...

cityville

farmville

bejewled blitz

so far visiting sites with flash video are working better than before. I can actually play animated radar for the local news channel.

I did notice a few of my sites want to always push me their mobile version and I have not found an override like some phones and browsers that go to the desktop site by default.

Ok here is a screenshot showing cityville trying to load with latest flash 10.2 update from market. There is now a green down arrow to start it loading.

From the first image, it is telling you that Flash is set to "On Demand" within your browser settings. Not sure about the other two. Try changing the browser settings. There was also a post way back when Flash was first available for the other android phones. This post outlined how to play Farmville on the phone. It could be worth doing a search of the community.

Sadly it does not solve the problem I encounter.

The default fascinate browser for 1 does not support that UA string. I have tried Skyfire and Dolphin HD with the same results. I sound a lot like the other folks that post saying theirs do not work.

I visit the desktop site and not the mobile.

I turned always on and that gets rid of the Green arrow in the first picture. That seems to be part of on demand for the browser settings as you suggested.

This shows that I switched back to always on instead of on demand thus removing the green arrow down.

This shows the about:debug page used to activate the debug settings.

These show the debug menu is active and I can not find a ua string area to override into desktop mode.

It is full flash...

The problem lies with the hardware more than the plugin. Most things written in flash on the internet have NOT been rewritten for mobile devices. This is one of the reasons why Apple didn't want Flash. Most stuff will work, but a lot of stuff will not. It's a hit or miss.

I can accept the fact that most things on the internet do not support mobile mode. Sadly I can not accept the fact other FROYO devices can get a warning informing them their device is not supported, make a setting change in the browser and play the same item just fine.

The thing that bugs me the most is even with a third party browser that supports that option mentioned my unit behaves the same way. This indicates to me Verizon or Samsung some how messed with the way flash behaves on the fascinate.

On mine with stock browser it won't even load my fb games. Just says page cant load..
