Old Fascinate just stopped working, but also did the "@ after some SMS messages, but not all messages and only to US Cellular phones.
New phone came with Froyo 2.2 already installed (le sigh).

You can try to contact tech support, but it sounds like it might be on us celluar's end. Or somewhere in the hand off

@ proceed the second part of the message and sometimes after as well. It has happened to me once that I was told. Sent a long text to an AT&T Iphone when it occurred.
