I've had my Incredible a couple of weeks now and generally love it. Just one issue that is really bugging me: How can you stop it opening a browser window with the VCast Media Manager ad every time you connect the usb?! I even downloaded the wretched software thinking that might do it, but NO! It's apparently not smart enough to know you've already installed it. Very irritating, especially when I'm working on something and a new window opens up and gets in the way.
I finally gave up on HTC Synch by the way. Biggest disappointment was that it only worked a few days, then crashed .. 4 times! Don't have time to deal with something that unstable, not to mention the worrry about losing things, I'm trying the 14 free trial for CompanionLink now. So far it works fine, including being able to synch Outlook notes and taks. Do miss the seamless way MS ActiveSynch worked with my old Ipaq, but at least I'm finally down to one device to carry around.
