Blackberry Storm and Global access

I have a new Blackberry Storm that I upgraded to from the 8830 with Global coverage. I just landed in Switzerland and cannot seem to get the phone to connect. Does anyone have a number for Switzerland that I can call Verizon on Skype that is not an 800 number, or a suggestion for solving the issue? I have gone into connection options and verified it is set on Global and Automatic. All I get is SOS.

Hello,

We are also going to Switzerland in the next month with our new Blackberry Storm. We have activated Sims card and are set to get Global access. What did you discover to be the problem that you were not able to get service with your Storm in Switzerland?

am in Melbourne and for some reason am unable to activate my global access..I can save the newtowrk selection mode of "auto matic" noe the network technology setting of "global"
