LG Dare Wont connect with USB

I recently bought a dare and installed the drivers using the CD provided. Whenever I connect the phone using the cable I get a message saying "the file lgusbmodem.sys on LGE mobile usb modem driver is needed". The file is can be different, sometimes it says "lgusbdiag.sys" or something along those lines. Dont know what the problem is, I'm running Windows XP S2.

I think your device driver may be corrupted. Might have to download the appropriate driver from
www.lg.com

Alright that solved half of the problem, I downloaded the driver and now I can connect with the "music" option. The only problem left is when i try to connect with the "data" option my computer says "usb device not recognized". Any ideas?
