Email on LG Ally

I have an LG Ally and have 2 email accounts.  One's working great but the other one I can't figure out how to delete the trash file.  I have thousands of emails in there that I would think is taking up space.  Does anyone know how to delete the trash file.  Also, the inbox, is the only way to delete, one at a time?  For my settings it ask me delete email from server, but then it won't let me delete anything, should I check "when I delete from inbox?"  I don't want to delete from my phone and it delete it on my computer.  Sorry for so many questions, it's new to me on my phone.

I welcome your questions. You will have plenty of them since this is a new device for you.

On the LG Ally, you will have to go to the trash file & delete the emails individually through the trash. The same applies to your inbox (you will need to delete them individually).

There may be a 3rd party application you can download from the Android Market that will give you the ability to delete more than one message at a time.
