Phone always putting on mute or hanging up.

My phone is constantly putting people on mute or hanging up on them or it just starts calling someone else while I am talking. I love the rest of the phone features but I am really starting to hate the phone because I can not hold a conversation. I would appreciate any tips you might have.

The proximity sensor is supposed to take care of that for you, however you are not the first to report that it doesn't always work.

 

If you were to use a blue tooth headset, you would definitely not have this problem.

 

I used to hate BT headsets until I bought my first smartphone. I hated having something that size and that hot up to the side of my face.
