Droid 2 Global question

Ive had my Droid Global for about 2 months now and my phone will stop receiving text and calls every once in awhile till i restart it then everything flows in except for missed calls. Could this have anything to do with the mode I have my battery on? I always have my battery on maximum battery saver. So I thought that maybe I quit receiving text/calls because of that mode. Could that be the case? Thanks!

Could be...

try using the other modes... and see your results.

MAX batterysaver has the least amount of updates.

Night time saver is adequate for most , it checks the mail every hour or so.

While performance will be querying your mail every 15minuets.

Alright ill try changing it but it just sucks because the battery on the phone is horrible enough on Max saver I just wonder what it will be like on performance mode or night time mode

You can always try...

Personally I use the performance mode because I need to me notified 24/7 from my contacts.

When I'm not working, then i use the custom battery saver mode to save my battery.

Stand by time on Performance mode last me about 20hours while Night-time saver last me almost 26-32 hours.

Havent tried the MAX Mode yet.

and you have never had any problems with text coming in or calls?
