I've got some questions about the phone...
1. how does it do in pockets? Is it easy to fit, or is it uncomfortable?
2. Does the alarm have the option of setting an alarm to go off everyday? Or do you have to manually turn on the alarm each time?
It will fit in a pocket, but it is big, and you might find it uncomfortable. As for the Alarm, yes, once you set it and check of the days, it will go off on those days. I have two alarms going, one for the week days and one for the week-ends. One thing people don't do is uncheck the box that says "VOLUME Use Increasing Volume" because the first few rings are inaudable.
The phone really surprised me, for a device of its size actually fits comfortably in my pocket, also for the alarms mortb is correct, the alarm can be set to sound repeatedly daily or weekly and its wise to disable the "VOLUME Use Increasing Volume" option.
When I bought my DROID X (last Septmember), I purchased the Verizon leather case for it ... I used the case like 10 times - and mostly when traveling. But honestly, I just stick it in my pocket now. it fits comformatably in my jeans or cargo pants w/o the need of a case. The Gorilla glass is really great - in fact I even removed my screen protector ... no need for it, and the pics/videos look very nice w/o a screen protector. I DO make a point of turning the glass inwards - against my thigh/leg - just in case I happen to knock it against something while walking around.
Hopefully you'll love this phone as much as I do ... I'm very VERY happy with it. Full of cool features and great (free) APPS available.
Thank you all for your replies! Those two things were the most important to me and I wanted to make sure they would fit how I use my phone. I also have made it a habit to turn the screen towards my leg in my pocket (after numerous phones ruined by bumping into things) What do you guys think about the texting on it? Is it fairly easy to get used to? I have an Env3 right now and I almost never use the QWERTY so I'm pretty used to the t9 texting.
