Can't receive texts from T-Mobile

When people on T-Mobile try to text me I get nothing. If I text them first and they respond I receive the response. If they try to text me another day I get nothing again. This problem only manifested a few weeks ago. I am in a EVDO area and I almost never drop to 1xRTT. Phone calls appear to work fine and I receive them from any source.

Since you can send them a text message and they can reply to your messages, the issue seems to be with the other person. They need to contact their service provider for assistance. They may be entering your number incorrectly when sending you a text message.

When they text you direct are they using your 10 digit phone number??? Since they can reply to waht you send, I think that may be the issue. Do not use the 7 digit number and do not add the 1 in front of the area code.

What if they save your contact information from a text sent from you. Can they choose that new contact and get a message through?

I've checked the phones that are trying to text me and they all are using the 10 digit phone number They have no problem texting other people but they do not text anyone else on Verizon.
