People have posted for quite some time that SAMSUNG is not obligated to give us updates because it wasn't stated in the contract. It's not stated on MOTOROLLA and HTC's contracts either but they got their updates. I did my research on-line and went to CNET and ENGADGET to read reviews about the phone before I made the purchase. And if you would go to this website it was said by SAMSUNG that the phone will be upgraded to FROYO.
Although they never set a time table... their silence means that they don't really care about their customers. Their is no customer support for this phone. And to all the people who posted that we should be happy because our phone can make and receive calls... GET REAL. This is supposed to be a SMARTPHONE. If all I wanted to do is make and receive calls I would have gotten a DUMBPHONE or a pre-paid throw away phone.
STOP FORCING US TO GET A ROOT Canal.
And to all REAL CUSTOMERS out there. Click on the user names of the people who post on this forum and you would see that alot of them are here everyday almost every hour as if they don't have a job... or maybe yet THIS IS THEIR JOB. Read their comments and they would post to other forums on different cellphones on verizon.
I can't imagine someone who likes their phones to keep posting on this forum convincing us to LOVE the phones... what are they getting from it. NOW THAT IS THE REAL QUESTION. I have a THINKPAD and I don't go to the LENOVO FORUM website convincing everybody to love their laptops. I'm happy with my laptop and that's the end of it. To all the FASCINATE FANATICS out there... GET A LIFE and stop fooling us as if you are real customers with no hidden agenda. There are more FRUSTRATED FASCINATE OWNERS than there are FANATICS (who definitely works for samsung or a private reseller of samsung products)
