Hearing the call

I made a phone call today and I cannot hear the caller on the other end but they can hear me?

I checked the volume on the call and its all the way up?

I called myself and could not hear. LOL

So I pulled the battery and now its fine. I am just concerned since I just got this phone 2 days ago. I dont want to have to constantly pull the battery to correct stuff like I did with my BB.

Is that your only call? Do you have low volume problem with all your calls?

I can hear one caller OK, but not great. But another call I can hear nothing hardly at all. When I adjust the in call volume and its all the way up.

I guess I have to take it back to Verizon....

Unless someone else has other suggestions.......

Try calling yourself from another phone or landline.

If the problem persist, then I would say you have a problem.

If not, I would try calling others, as the person the you are talking to may have transmitting problems on their side, and not a receiving problem on your side.

You might have a speaker going bad. I have read of other phones (not D2 or D2G) where the speaker have gone out.
