Transfer pictures from ENV2 to LG Octane

We just upgraded from LG ENV2 to LG Octane and the LG Octane does not recognize the pictures on the SD card from the ENV.  How do I transfer these pics to the Octane?

Hello Jacandjer, follow the steps below to utilize an old MicroSD card on the Octane: 

 



• Place the old Memory Card in the Octane
• Mount the Old Memory Card on your PC Using Mass Storage Mode and the supplied USB cable
• Create a new folder on the MicroSD named “my_pictures” (Without the Quotes)
• Open the old photos folder, named, “my_pix” and copy the photos over to the NEW “my_pictures” folder.
• If you need to copy the users old Videos…  You can copy the contents from the “my_flix” folder to the New folder “my_videos.”  If the folder was not created when you inserted the MicroSD card into the Octane, you will need to manually create it.
• Now use the “Safely Remove Hardware” Icon in the lower right portion of your monitor to safely unmount the Card from your PC. 
• On the Octane, you can now turn off the Data Mode by unlocking the phone and pressing the End Key twice.
• Now that the Card has been Dismounted from the PC, open the phone and go to the Main Menu and select “Media Center”
• Now select “My Pictures & Videos.
• Finally select My Pictures and verify that all of the OLD pictures show up.
• When this whole process is complete, and you are SURE that the pictures are showing up, you can now delete the old “my_pix” and “my_flix” folders…  It isn’t necessary but might eliminate some confusion in the future.
