I recently upgraded from the first generation Motorola Driod to the Motorola Droid X and I have experienced erratic behavior on my phone on two separate occasions now. The first episode resulted in a visit to the Verizon store and a required reset to factor defaults and the rebuilding of my contacts, email and apps. Now, three weeks later, I seem to the faced with the same issue and likely solution. What a pain.
In speaking with my business partner, his college aged son recently upgraded and he in now on his third factory replacement as a result of the same issues.
What can I do? What is the position of Verizon and Motorola regarding what appears to be a serial failure?
